A focus on joints

Graham very kindly gave up his time to come to the University and talk to the students about his experiences working with Mustard Tree and give key feedback to further inform the narrative and design of our bespoke furniture

An informal crit for the students to share ideas and discuss the best way to approach the brief

Nathan from Mustard Tree very kindly showed us around their facility and spoke to the students passionately about the important work that goes on there. We also got a chance to see a little preview of OMI's proposal for their office refurb.

We've taken dimensions of the furniture, ready to start the design process

The students chose ten pieces of furniture from Mustard Trees furniture store, most of which were in disrepair or badly damaged. In the coming days we will be salvaging parts for the final products

Our Initial visit to Mustard Tree was a huge success

We will be meeting for the first time in studio room CH711 at 11:00 on Monday the 20th of March.
