The PHASE Events Teams have created a series of videos highlighting what we've been up to this week- a 3 min summary just isn't enough after everything we've been up to! Now we're having a question time- what do the policy makers think of our academic ideas, and what do the academics have to ask the policy makers? We've had questions covering care homes, developers, the multi-generational household, cultural change, dementia friendly housing and quality of architecture in different parts of the country. Now to the undergraduate students, what questions do they have?

We've heard lots of short presentations from our collaborators on their really interesting and insightful research and why they are interested in housing for older people. There's a consensus that housing for older people hasn't been given enough thought, and it's good to hear that other Universities have been researching this in collaboration with architectural practices.

The first of our three big events during this week has kicked off!
We're hosting an academic round table, discussing with 13 academics and policy makers in Greater Manchester the work we've been doing on housing for older people, and their experience of the dynamic between researchers and policy makers...
