Space Invaders will closely work with In Situ an art organisation in Pendle Lancashire to reinterpret the existing town centre and provide new public spaces in the town of Nelson, Lancashire. Through workshops aimed at producing temporary structures these interventions will offer opportunities for the locals to learn trades in a hands-on environment. In turn the goods produced in these workshops will decorate the city of Nelson. This will create work and business opportunities for the locals and more engaging public spaces where the inhabitants get to impact their surroundings in a direct manner.
