The team worked very hard in the afternoon to resolve technical and physical issues that were identified earlier on in the day. Following a lot of sketching, modelling and problem solving the final solution and plan for tomorrow’s workshop day was discussed with the whole group.

At this morning’s session Sofia presented her MArch Portfolio to the first and second year students in order to share some tips on portfolio layout techniques and presentation skills.

Following Friday’s presentations at which a final design was decided on, at todays morning session our guest tutor Colin advised on how to best construct the Relive’66 Pavilion.

Day 1:
The afternoon was spent visiting the 1966 World Cup Exhibition at the National Football Museum.This provided us with lots of historical background about the 50 year anniversary since England's 1966 World Cup triumph.

Day 1:
The afternoon was spent visiting the 1966 World Cup Exhibition at the National Football Museum.
This provided us with lots of historical background about the 50th year anniversary since England won the World Cup in 1966.

The morning ended with “show and tell” presentations at which each group explained their initial sketches, themes and inspirations for the Relive’66 installation.

Following the site visit the team was split into groups of three and the rest of the morning was spent brainstorming, sketching ideas and researching precedents.
