Day 3: Design Charrette discussions with Catherine Morris from Southway Housing Trust at Westcroft Community Centre in Burnage. Catherine in conjunction with Ambition for Ageing is setting up the 'take a seat' campaign within Burnage, a successful endeavour already in place in Old Moat.

Day 5: Working in the workshop to get the palette wood sanded and made into our space partitions. External frame created using a basic butt joint, with mitered butt joints for the internal bracing.

Day 4: As is to be expected with reclaimed materials, some sections are too rotten or weathered to be utilised. With such, measuring, drawing, cutting and sanding of any new elements needed is put into motion. Here we can see a new chair base being cut out by Lucia.
