Day 08_Assembly of the I-beams continues. They have now started to form the structure of the unbuilt part of the Lee House building. The I-beams will later be spray painted to be distinguishable from the transparent facades surrounding them.

Day 06_First perspex sheet of I-beams being lasercut. Due to the 2mm thickness, the narrow strips tend to move out of place. The way to avoid any wrong cuts on them is to pause the lasercutting and use masking tape to hold the pieces in place.

Day 06_The dusted 3D printed objects are coated with a layer of superglue to add to their robustness. This slightly changes their coloration from brilliant white to more ivory-white, however this is only a small issue compared to the structural benefits.
