Becky Sobell, from MSA, and Dr. Martin Gillie, from UoM Engineering, have come to visit the exhibition as they will be running a proposed Summer School in conjunction with in-situ for 12 Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Engineering students, to revisit our proposals and create a full feasibility study for the Garage.

4th May 2016. All of the groups are working hard to complete their proposals and lay out the requested 2no A1 sheets per group, ready to be printed and mounted, well on time before the exhibition in Brierfield Library on Thursday 5th May.

3rd May. Following a lovely, long Bank Holiday weekend, we are all back in Manchester working on the three proposals in the Students Union. Each group is finalising their drawings, whilst the 5th years are working on making a physical model of the existing garage, to serve as a centrepiece for the exhibition in Brierfield on Thursday afternoon.

As part of their work with the local community, in-situ organises each month a screening of a different movie, each time in a different location. We joined them at Jim's Vegetarian Restaurant for a screening of the fantastic 1987 British movie 'Withnail & I', with Paul McGann and Richard E.Grant.
