Throwback Thursday - when we arrived at the town hall last week we had a team meeting before the inductions and wondered what the students would come up with. Just over a week later we are pleased to say they are surpassing our expectations, keep going everyone!

Cast elements are drying nicely, though it will be several weeks before they have fully dried, so some shrinkage is expected!

Whilst the students have been working hard to produce the models we have been busy recording their progress and making a film.

This week has involved lots of testing to decide on materials and finishes, such as layering wood stain, pictured above.

Today is the final day of model planning and preparation at the Town Hall. Each of the three groups have decided what they are going to model and what they want to show, so today is an opportunity to get the preparation work done to make the most of the time in the B15 workshop next week.
