STACKED

The booklet has been an important part of the process where students had to analyse and consider every detail of their construction sequence in order to be easily understood by anyone who wants to create their design.

EXTENDABLE BOX TABLE

Sample of pages included in the construction sequence booklet. Students created the booklet as a step by step construction sequence including dimensions, cost and assembly process in order to be easier for our collaborators to create the workbench.

SUPERSLOT

Welcome to Events 18!

My name is Stephanie Papalla and I’m a 5th year member of the Work bench team! I am from Cyprus and I graduated my undergrad from Manchester school of architecture in 2016! I did my year out at a local firm -mainly handling housing projects - at my hometown Larnaca. Aside from architecture I love traveling and exploring new places. I’m really looking forward to getting to know you all and working together during the events weeks.

Great meeting today with our collaborator Vicky from Luna!

It was a very interesting discussion about the project brief, specifications of the project and design ideas!

We will now research materiality, cost and construction!

It will be a fantastic real-life project where students will have an active role in all the design stages hoping to contribute to the design in their own way!

More information about the project brief soon!
