The structure design team and ship rack design team have been working hand-in-hand for a 1:50 model of the lifeboat exhibition space. See how nice the boat sits within the space! We can't wait to see how the design could extend to the external open space.

[DAY 5] Design Development

Amazing rendering by the facade design team showing the northwest elevation of the museum! Perforated aluminium panels were chosen to play with light and visibility around the main exhibition area.

After reviewing with the architects, we got a selected design for boat supporting rack to be pushed forward! The sinuous wave form allows the boat to sit elegantly within the structure and retains a sense of composure and balance. Well done Kilian for the exciting proposal! We can't wait to see the final model *applause*

Today we’re in the studio discussing our risk assessment and refining the detailed schedule for our event!

First Skype meeting with our collaborator Michael Collins this week! We're very happy to have grab hold of a clear brief from the architect and got loads of inspirations for the event arrangement. The team is now working hard on the programme planning. Details will be posted shortly. Stay tuned!
