Our ideas culminated in the projection of 6 transgressive themes onto different sized hanging pieces of paper with the projector concealed beneath a chair in the corner of the room. It added interest to an otherwise unused space and encouraged movement through the area rather than around it. It proved to be very interactive with passers-by.

Our chosen site on the third floor, whilst an interactive but not overcrowded space, was not able to support an installation of the kind of size and complexity we were dealing with as some of the elements would have caused an obstruction and been in breach of health and safety. We had a look at other locations, particularly in the Shed, but in the end decided on a different space in Chatham.

As our ideas coalesced into a single theme, the specific necessities of the site became more and more obvious. We had an idea of the size of the space we required and the nature of circulation around it, the number of routes into the space and the number of people likely to use it. In this way we systematically eliminated sites until we were left with our chosen space on the third floor.

We spent a while in our sub groups collaborating and combining ideas through sketches and diagrams and explaining our modes of thought to one another. Having settled on a few more completed ideas that effectively utilised site and conveyed the theme; we presented to the rest of the group.
