We had a walking tour of the current Hulme, by Tony Kelzo (a Hulme resident and graffiti artist). Kelzo worked significantly on The Crescents prior to their demolition to 'brighten up the place', many creative people developed within The Crescents. The orthogonal pattern of the crescents (shown in this image) also inspired our exhibition set design.
