Build has been dismantled and carted across to the Student Union for storage until Pangaea Festival on June 4th.

Test build - on night of festival the string patterns will be illuminated with UV lights.

Test build - plastic cladding added and DJ table completed.

Test build - timber purlins hold pentagon portals together.

Test build - CNCed structural frames are slotted together.

Day seven - structural pieces have been CNCed and everything should be ready for the test build on Thursday.

The design the clients chose was a parabolic string arch, which will be developed further this week to translate the initial design into a feasible build structure.

Day two - Students developed their proposals in the morning before presenting to the Student Union and Kantorovich workshop staff in the afternoon.

First meeting of events week. Students discussed ideas for DJ booth designs then spent the day producing conceptual models to develop proposals for judging.
